Fearne Nail Set

As you read in my last post, you would know that I received the Fearne Cotten Nail Polish Set that was available in boots this christmas.

I believe the gift set can still be purchased in boots however if not, I'm sure you will be able to find it on eBay.

Recently I have been trying out a few of the colours, and so far I love them all! However one that has come to my attention is the baby pink. Usually with many light pink colours, you need to reapply coat after coat to get an opaque colour however with this you only need 1 coat and the colour pay off is amazing! I love the vibrant yet subtle colour it gives and with the fast drying time and the non chipping formulae, I would defiantly recommend these nail polishes as the best.

I believe that a makeup range by Fearne will be coming throughout 2012. I will defiantly be the first to grab more colours as I just love them!
For an extremely cheap £6 in boots at the moment these nail polishes are worth it!

Let me know if you would like more colour swatches :)

Favourite Christmas Gifts

My video of what i got for christmas.Watch me video- link below to see everything I received this christmas.

This post is a few in depth items, that I received for christmas that were my favourites and I have enjoyed using throughout the Christmas period.
If anyone would like any more in depth reviews on any products, be sure to comment or email me

Soap and Glory "heaven nose" gift set.
This gift set was purchased at boots in their Christmas gift range for a retail price of £16. I believe the retail price of this giftset was truly amazing. The giftset included the Eau De Soap & Glory Original Pink Perfume Spray 50ml and the Righteous ButterBody Butter. I love the scent of both of these products - the typical gorgeous vanilla and marshmallow scent. My other perfumes retail for around £30 however my only criticism of this S+G perfume is that the scent does not linger-only for around 1 hour however it is a great size to carry in your handbag! You can purchase the pufume on its own for £15, which would still make a great gift for somebody.

Bomb Cosmetics Bath Melt
I recieved this bath melt from my mum, as she knows i love all things "Lush", although this melt is not from the company Lush, it still resembles everything i love in a bath product; the shape, colour and not forgetting the scent! Although i have not used this product yet, i have counted it as one of my favoruite prouducts, mainly for the gorgeous sweet smelling scent it has. I would say the melt smells vanilary, with a touch of lemon and possibly white chocolate. I love the snowman on this product as it is a cute finishing touch, with also the glitter to make a relaly lovely gift!

Fearne Perfect Polish gift set
I recieved this polish set from one of my best friends, as she knows i love all things nail! This literally is the best gift for me! This gift set was part of boots christmas gift set however you still might be able to find it. The set comes with 6 different everyday wearable colours and for only £12, it definatly was a great bargain! I have tried many diferent colours and brands of nail polishes before, however these are definatly the best. The perfect choice of colours, the short time they take to dry, the easy application and not forgetting how they almost never chip! I would definatly reccomend this gift as i'm sure anyone who loves nails, would love it! - just like me!

Iphone 4 with Kate Spade Hardback
As of this year, my iphone was my "main" present. I am not going to talk alot about this as obviously it was my favourite and i am sure you have heard alot about it before! However, the case i recieved for chrismtas - by Kate Spade i love too! This is the polka dot black design and i love it. The back of the case is hard however the sides are floexible meaning it is easier to put on to the phone. My only critisim again, is that the case scrathces easily, however on the other hand i would rather that scrath than my iphone!

I hope everyone had a great christmas and recieved everything they wanted :)

MAC Pinch Me Blush

Pinch Me Shade description: Medium dirty rose coral (sheer tone)
To start with, i am a definate blush person. I love to try a variety of colours and also brands meaning i have a few in my collection. This blush is totally different from any other Blush I have in my collection, which means i love it!. In the pan it looks quite dark, but once applied it gives me the most perfect blushed look, that "just stepped out of the cold" look. I would say it is a dark peachy/pink shade. Darker than my other peachy pinks shades with no shimmer, but that's what I had hoped for.

I like the way it can be worn real sheer in the mornings and can be played up a bit in the night time. It has a wonderful peachy tone to it which suits my skin without making it look too unnatural even if I pile it on in the night time.

Although this blush is abit of a splurge, with a retail price of £17, i definatly recomend this blush. Definatly one of my favourites, and even if you need to save you really should! Best purchase i have ever made:)

Review: 17 Photo Flawless Primer

Review: 17 Photo Flawless Primer

Review on the 17 Photo Flawless Primer, which can be found at Boots. It is part of 17's new photo flawless collection, which includes, a primer, foundation, mascara and an eyeliner. The primer retails at £4.99.
The Primer claims to be easy to use and effortlessly blendable, it is designed to apply before foundation to smooth your skin and assist the application of your bases, leaving skin even and fresh all day long.

I have had this Primer for around 6 months and apply it every single time i apply makeup. The 15ml has certainly lasted well, especially as i am no where near finished!
When i first saw how cheap it was, i originally thought, will it be any good, seeing as high end ones would be up to 6 times more expensive, and there for better? Well, now i have given it a proper review i do beleive it is worth the money. As i said before i have been using mine for about 6months everyday and in the packaging it still feels very full - no dents or thin bits :) So if you are looking for a good cheap primer then this is for you.

When applied, the skin feels a senscation, almost as if it is warming up, however skin then cools down and the face feels very moistrised and re-freshed. I even think i could go out the house with out wearing any foundation just using that!!! I mean thats a big step for me! Once i have applied the primer with my hands i then apply my concealer and fondation, seriously they actually glide on, and it is so much easier to blend and contuer. After applying my foundation and concealer i then apply powder, blusher etc but i dont get much of a differnce. It does a good job of hiding big pores I have on my cheeks and does even make-up out. This is an amazing product for you if you have oily to combination skin becuase you will see at differnce!

The packaging is great too, it holds 15ml, and i only use a pea sized amount everytime i use it so it will last me ages :) Yes ok packagind - i love it, it looks very highend and proffessional, becuase it is black very sleek and sophisticated. The last thing i would like to talk about it the consistancy. Ok so the primer is a clear gel substance, i personally like this better than primers which are coloured. My reasoning for this is becuase the colored primer could be to dark or light for you bt clear gel primer blends easily and matches your skin colour and type.

The only thing I would really say is I have some quite dry patches on my skin and it seems to make my make-up stick to these and make them look worse it is not moisturizing enough for my liking but maybe that is just my skin!So yeah not a great product for dry skin, but becuase i only have dry skin sometimes its ok! As this is the "photo flawless" range when filming and taking pictures i havent seen mch of a difference, apart from i think my skin looks lighter. But you can still see imperfections if there not covered with makeup! Ok so now on to it beeing a primer - well my makeup would usally stay on for about 5 hours and with the primer it only really stays on for about 6 hours so theres not much of a difference. Thats the big bummer! It might just be me but if you decide to purchase this primer i hope it works out for you.

Yes, the brand 17 is cheep, which may put you off, however it is certainly worth the money and the quality is as good/better than a high end product! Happy Shopping x
